Rethinking Higher Education - The Minerva Project
The Minerva Project is an inventive college program. At 1776, this interview of founder Ben Nelson was an interesting view into disruptive technologies in education. Minerva admissions has extremely high standards, but all students who meet the standards are admitted. The program isn’t housed in a single location. Each year the classes are held in a host city and the students immerse themselves in the culture and experience of that location. They want to shift the focus from grades to learning. This unique program would be great for many types of people looking for ways to expand their experiences beyond the typical classroom experience. www.minerva.kgi.edu
