Data Viz DC Monthly Meetup: MICA Thesis presentations

Four great presentations by recent graduates of the Maryland Institute College of Art's Analytics and Data Visualization Master's program presented their thesis projects.

Cory Cone presented a stunning visualization on the birds of Patterson Park. Sarah Fawson's focus was on social justice. Sergei Villamera presented on visualizing student loans. Laura Asher presented her way of visualizing dance coreography.

The variety of final projects was very interesting, as was the descriptions each had of how the approached their capstone projects. It was a great way to see new possibilities in data vizualization.
