The Atlantic Small Business Forum

The Atlantic Small Business Forum explored the changing landscape of small business enterprise. Sponsored by The Atlantic magazine this event brought together government officials, start up business leaders, and financiers to discuss the small business community in DC. Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA) spoke on the issues impacting small government contractors and upcoming legislation aimed at helping them. Bill Butcher (owners of Port City Brewery) spoke on his experiences in starting and growing the first brewery in the DC area since prohibition. Numerous other speakers included Nazim Ali, owner of Ben’s Chili Bowl, and Timothy Chi, president and CEO of WeddingWire.
