Business Web Tech Strategies Meetup

This fun, interactive meetup was very informative for planning and growing a web presence. We all shared our favorite productivity apps and I learned several things that I can use immediately. Here is a smattering of the favorite apps shared in the meetup discussion… Digg.com - What trending now on the internet; Bethesda Chamber of Commerce App; What's App - Text internationally for free; Canva - A simple new way to design; Rignite and Hootsuite - Pulls all social media into one platform; PageModo - Everything facebook for your business; ifttt.com - Create rules to connect multiple social media accounts - tweeting someones blog updates - this is where you can set up a rule to thank someone every time someone follows you.

We also discussed building relationships in social media, People advised us to be genuine and show support for the person you want to build a relationship with. 1) Follow their blog 2) Comment on their blog posts 3) Share/retweet their post.
