CyberSecurity - Finance and Administration Roundtable (FAR)

This was my first time attending a FAR event and I was impressed. The room was packed with interesting people and I enjoyed the lunch and conversation. We heard from a panel that there are three types of organizations: ones who have experienced a breach and are dealing with it, ones who are not yet aware that they have been breached, and ones who haven’t experienced a breach. They discussed how to recognize the extent and impact of data breach in organizations, review and consider your organization’s potential for threat of data breach, identify steps you can take to make cybersecurity a priority for your organization. The panelists were Lou Novick, The Novick Group; Brian Sheehan, DelCor and Bobby Turnage, Jr., Venable, LLP.
