Expand Your Circle of Influence - Technology Networking Event

This excellent event held at the Ronald Reagan building was hosted jointly by the Trade Center Management Associates and the Chambers of Commerce of DC, Dulles and Alexandria. The attendees were varied from marketing professionals, tech professionals and the nonprofit community. I had the pleasure of meeting Shaka King the Operations Director of the DC Fashion Foundation and the DC Fashion Incubator. We talked about the great work they are doing to promote the fashion industry in DC and help fashion entrepreneurs learn the technical and business skills needed for success in the industry. He has a vision of expanding to include training and programs to help people transitioning out of incarceration learn the fashion business.
