Catching Up - Lighting the Way

I've been away from my blog for a while. With my new position managing a team focused on saving energy via energy efficient lighting, I've been immersing myself in learning about lighting. I've attended LightFair International, the DesignLights Consortium's Stakeholder meeting, and the DC Illumination Engineering Society's Annual Awards Dinner. All of these events were extremely helpful in building my knowledge and experience in lighting and energy efficiency. The innovation, technology and design showcased at these events show that the future of lighting is exciting and the opportunities to save energy are vast.
