DesignLights Consortium - Stakeholders Meeting

The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) held their annual Stakeholders meeting in Boston this year. It was packed full of information about energy efficiency and the future of lighting, with sessions on Smart Cities, the impacts of outdoor lighting, the energy efficiency opportunities with networked lighting controls and the next wave of horticultural lighting. The networking opportunities were many, including structured networking for manufacturers and utilities to delve into topics important to them. I even ran into someone who I hadn't seen since I was a kid. That was the most surprising thing that's happened to me at any conference.
