R-Ladies DC - Intro to COVID data visualization using tidyverse packages in R

The R-Ladies DC meetup on May 15th was informative and timely. The presenter was Dr. Jane Wall who initiated American University’s data science program. She teaches R and Data Science and is director of data science programs and is co-director of the Masters degree in data science at American University. She showed us how she is using tidyverse packages in R to provide data visualizations of COVID data. This high energy talk and demo provided participants access to useful datasets as well as insights into using tidyverse.
